A father in Mumbai calls his son in New York and says,'I hate to ruin your day son, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are getting a divorce, 35 years of marriage... and that much misery is enough!

''Dad, what are you talking about?' the son screams.

'We can't stand the sight of each other any longer,' the old man says.'We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Hong Kong and tell her!'

Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone.'Like heck they're getting divorced,' she shouts, 'I'll take care of this.

'She calls Mumbai immediately, and screams at the old man, 'You are not getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then , don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR??' and she hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. 'Okay', he says, 'It's all set. They're both coming for Diwali and paying their own airfare!!'

MORAL:No man / woman is busy in this world all 365 days.The sky is not going to fall down if you take few days LEAVE and meet your dear ones.

MONEY

There was a man who worked all of his life and saved all of his money. He was a real miser when it came to his money. He loved money more than just about anything, and just before he died, he said to his wife, "Now listen, when I die, I want you to take all my money and place it in the casket with me. I wanna take my money to the afterlife."

So he got his wife to promise him with all her heart that when he died, she would put all the money in the casket with him.

Well, one day he died. He was stretched out in the casket, the wife was sitting there in black next to her closest friend. When they finished the ceremony, just before the undertakers got ready to close the casket, the wife said "Wait just a minute!"

She had a shoe box with her, she came over with the box and placed it in the casket. Then the undertakers locked the casket down and rolled it away. Her friend said, "I hope you weren't crazy enough to put all that money in the casket."

"Yes," the wife said, "I promised. I'm a good Christian, I can't lie. I promised him that I was going to put that money in that casket with him."

"You mean to tell me you put every cent of his money in the casket with him?"

"I sure did. I got it all together, put it into my account and I wrote him a cheque."

A blonde woman boards an airplane. She is extremely exhausted and just wants to take a nap. She finally finds her seat and sits down next to a very curious young man.

He wants to test the whole dub blonde thing and possibly make some money out of it. "Hey, wanna play a game?" he asks her. "No thank you, i just want to take a nap." "Please, its really easy, all you have to do is answer the questions that i ask you. If you don't know the answer, then you give me five dollars, and if I don't know the answer to your question, then Ill give you five dollars."

"I really don't want to do this. I just want to take a nap."

"Oh but PLEASE pretty please. Okay, how about if I don't know the answer to your question, I'll give you five hundred dollars." The blonde woman became interested and decided to play the game.

"Okay. How many moons does jupiter have?" the young man asked. The woman reached into her purse and took out a five dollar bill. "What goes up the mountain with three legs and comes back down with four?".

The young man, determined not to lose, gets out his laptop and searches all over the internet for an answered. Flustered and confused, the young man hand the blonde five hundred dollars.

After a few hours, the young man was itching to know the answer to the question."What was the answer to the riddle?" the blonde woman reached into her purse and handed the young man a five dollar bill.

Worth reading story

One day I decided to quit.

I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality. I wanted to quit my life.

I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.

"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"

His answer surprised me.

"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"

"Yes", I replied.

When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light and water. The fern quickly grew from the earth.

Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo

seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the 2nd yr the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.

And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed.

But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the 3rd year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In the 4rth yr, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit. Then in the 5th yr a tiny sprout emerged from the earth."

Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant. But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.

It had spent the 5 yrs growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."

He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots."

"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. Don't compare yourself to others." He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet, they both make the forest beautiful."

Your time will come," God said to me. "You will rise high!"

How high should I rise? I asked.

How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.

"As high as it can?" I questioned.

"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can. "

I left the forest and brought back this story.

I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you.

think like a MAN

A man is dating three women and wants to decide which to marry.

He decides to give them a test. He gives each woman a present of $5,000 and watches to see what they do with the money.

The first does a total makeover. She goes to a fancy beauty salon, gets her hair done, purchases new make-up and buys several new outfits, and dresses up very nicely for the man.

She tells him that she has done this to be more attractive for him because she loves him so much.

The man is impressed.

The second goes shopping to buy the man gifts.

The third invests the money in the stock market.

A touching story by a girl

"When I was a little girl, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work.
On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage, and extremely burned toast in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his toast, smile at my       mom, and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember Watching him smear butter and jelly on that toast and eat every bite!
When I got Up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom  apologize to my dad For burning the toast. And ! I'll never forget what he said: 'Baby, I love burned toast.'
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if He really liked his toast burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, 'Debbie, your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides-a little burnt toast never hurt anyone!' You know, life is full of imperfect things....and imperfect people. I'm not the best housekeeper or cook.
What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other's a fault - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences - is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting marriage relationship.
And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your life because in the end, GOD the only One who will be able to give you a marriage where burnt toast isn't a deal-breaker! We could extend this to any relationship in fact - as understanding is the base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or friendship!! "

we act like we're cold so you'll hold us. Gossip isn't a sin, it's an art. When we say we're fine, we're usually not. Most of us fall in love way too easily. We're never too old for sleepovers. All of us have a mean side, some of us just don't show it. We're confusing, and you'll never have us completely figured out. Most of us like attention. We all like to hear we're beautiful. No matter how many times we say we don't care, we usually do. We'll mess with your head. If we say that nothing's wrong, something usually is. i'm just finish watching ugly betty season 4..
for those who don't know,
this story is about a woman that is not perfect.
she doesn't have the look
and certainly don't know fashion even she is working for a fashion magazine.
thats not just it,
she is pretty ugly and quite nerdy
but she have brain, guts and family that supporting her to keep moving forward.
for a girl that had been push around most of the time,
she is quite tough.
to make it short,
at the end of the story,
she achieve what she ever want in life because of her stubbornest, determination, not mention kindness.
she become a woman she want to be and be happy.
this story makes me thinking,
your look and what you wear do matter
but not as much as your attitude and your passion reflect you
its show who you really are...
